To use the nearby scan feature, you can follow these steps on your Android or iOS devices:

   By doing so, Discord will scan the airwaves and find someone on Discord using its scanning feature. It will detect someone whose Bluetooth is on. Discord will only detect the nearby person who has a Discord account.

   Whoever’s Bluetooth is on will show on your phone (only if the person has a Discord account connected to their mobile device).

   

   You can now proceed to add the person. If they accept your friend request, you will see a green check beside the person’s profile.

How to Locate a Discord User Using Your Phone Contact List

You can also locate and add your friends on Discord using your phone contacts list. Here’s how:

   Tap the three horizontal lines, and then tap the waving person icon.

   Tap on “Find your Friends” tab.
