Discord Boost Badges

The discord boost badge is a badge that shows off to members that you boost your favorite server. When you boost a server enough times and also with the help of other users, the server will be able to unlock various additional perks.

Besides the server booster badge showing off you are boosting a server, it also shows how long you have been boosting a server. As the badge evolves with the amount of time you have been boosting a server.

However, there are some notes to take into account with the server booster badge evolvement.

1. If you boost one server and transfer the server boost, your badge will reset and you will have the booster badge for 1 month.
2. On the contrary, when you have multiple boosted servers, then your badge will always show off the longest booster streak you have.

Now you know what the badge is, you might want to know how you can actually get it. That is what I will be explaining here, luckily it is very easy.

1. Step 1

   

   Go to the server you want to boost.

2. Step 2

   

   Click on the drop-down menu next to the server name where you can also find the server settings.

3. Step 3

   

   Now go to Server Boost.

4. Step 4

   

   After clicking on Server Boost, a new screen will pop up, here it will show which perks the server already has and how many boosts there already are for the server. Here you will have to click on “Boost this server”. You can also click on the little pink plus sign next to each level, so it will automatically calculate the amount of money you have to pay until the next level.

5. Step 5

   

   Now you will be able to select the number of boosts you want to give to the specific server and it will show the subtotal of your purchase. If you want to help the server reach the next boost level, then you can also click on the little pink plus sign next to each level, so it will automatically calculate the amount of money you have to pay until the next level. You will have to do this on the screen mentioned in step 4.

   

6. Step 6

   

   It will then show a billing breakdown of what you purchased and when you agree you can click “purchase”. You will have to go through the steps to approve your purchase.

7. Step 7

   You have now purchased a boost and you will immediately receive the discord server booster badge. Besides the badge, there will also be a message that shows that the server got boosted by you. If with your help the server reaches a new boost level, you will also immediately be able to use the additional perks that belong to that boost level.

   

   Please note that this message will only pop up if the server owner has enabled these types of messages for the server in the server settings.

There is also a perk to having a discord nitro with server boosting, besides getting a discord nitro badge. Both Discord nitro and Discord nitro classic users get a 30% off all server boosts purchases. However, if you have a Discord nitro subscription and not the classic, you will also have 2 free server boosts that you can use on any server you like, you will still have the discord nitro badge.

There is also a way to do some free server boosting, but this could take a while to get there. What you will have to do is become part of the partner program, when you become a discord partner and therefore part of the partner program, you receive the discord partner badge, you get free nitro, including the discord nitro badge and as stated before with discord nitro you receive 2 free server boosts for your discord server. So by becoming part of the partner program, you can give your own server two extra server boosts.
